Managing Partner
After more than 30 years in commercial real estate, Nathan brings broad industry knowledge and an innovative approach to all Common Ground projects. He embraces the chance to create value and opportunity by thinking outside the box. Nathan enjoys collaborating with his talented partners and other industry professionals to develop projects that bring people together.
Outside of work, Nathan relishes spending time with his three children doing whatever makes them tick. His lifelong interests include endurance sports and motorsports. When he travels, Nathan enjoys experiencing different cultures and soaking up intriguing architecture and design.

David’s childhood train trips to downtown Chicago and surrounding areas inspired a lifelong passion for neighborhoods, design, real estate, and urban land economics. These interests combined with David’s extensive travels and broad experience in operations and execution equip him to develop unique community assets that inspire people to keep coming back.
David has over 18 years experience in commercial real estate development and investment, and has completed over $1 billion in new development and transactions across all property types. David led national coverage of acquisitions, dispositions, portfolio management, development and leasing, for Hendricks Commercial Properties, part of the family office of Diane Hendricks. David co-founded Offerd, a commercial real estate technology company that leverages data and artificial intelligence to power real estate acquisitions, where he served as COO. David is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, ICSC, CCIM, the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association and he is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International.
David’s curiosity and love of learning keeps him engaged with the world around him, both professionally and personally. He especially enjoys spending time with his partner Samantha and family, neighborhood walks, mountain biking, traveling, and eating and drinking at both favorite haunts and new spots.
Business Development / Project Management
With an appetite for learning and cultivating relationships, Kelly is uniquely suited to her primary roles of research and business development. She enjoys ushering each Common Ground project from concept to reality alongside a talented and supportive team. Her creative problem-solving skills help her tackle the unique challenges of developing innovative projects.
In her free time, Kelly embraces every opportunity to travel with her family, attend Aggie sporting events, experiment with new recipes, and take walks with their dog, Bear.
